Coming in at number two on the list is almost the opposite of exercise which is getting some rest. The human body is capable of many things, but once it reaches its limit of tiredness, it won’t function right. This is why students must get the proper rest to avoid straining the body and brain.

Reliever number three is staying away from caffeine. Sure, it might give you that initial boost but once that boost is gone it will make your body and mind even more tired and stressed out than it was before.

Meditating is a great way to relieve stress and that is why it is number four on this list. Meditating allow a person to clear their mind and center their thoughts. When you have a clear balanced mind, you are able to work more efficiently.

At number 5 is treating yourself. Yeah, as college students you may not have much money, but for finals week you should treat yourself. Eat something different or order something affordable online that you like.  These things sometimes makes students just happy enough to get the through a tough week.

Getting on social media is number 8 on the list. Social media can be a distraction but, sometimes it’s a well needed distraction when used correctly, after writing a couple papers, its ok to indulge in social media for little while before you start your next thing to do on your to do list.

Coming in at number 9 on the list is studying in a group or being around people who doing the same as you. This can relieve stress because students often feel like they are doing alone so when you look up and see other students working just as hard as you , it brings comfort.
