Banana fritters final product

  • 3 Bananas
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tablespoon sugar / to taste
  • Oil for deep frying


Mash the bananas with the back of a fork in a big bowl. Add the flour, egg and sugar. Mix all the ingredients well until a batter is formed.

Heat up a frying pan and add some oil for deep drying. Drop a spoonful of batter into the frying pan once the oil is heated. Try to “shape” the batter to make it somewhat round.

Deep fry the fritters until golden brown.

Remove the fritters with a strainer and drain the fritters on paper towels.

Serve warm.
