With Halloween around the corner, the question is posed: what are the best costume options for the year? There are so many different options to choose from with the wide variety of characters and themes available. So here’s a list of the top 10 trending costumes of 2018.

Number 10 on the list is the Mavis costume from Hotel Transylvania. The vampire look will always be a staple during Halloween, and Mavis’ popularity only furthers this notion.

Coming in at number nine on the list is the Rick from Rick and Morty costume. Rick and Morty is a cartoon program that has piqued interest in adults and children–because who wouldn’t want to be a crazy grandpa travels through space?

Number eight is the women’s Handmaid’s Tale costume. This costume is easy to make and is popular among people who love to watch The Handmaid’s Tale.

Seven on the list is the infamous Michael Myers costume. This costume has always been a popular choice among Halloween enthusiasts and with this year’s last Michael Myers movie coming out the interest has spiked again.

Number six on the list is a nun costume. This year, the movie The Nun has Halloween participants eager to be a scary nun. The costume is also very affordable and easy to make.

Coming in at number five is Stranger Things’ Demogorgon costume. The Demogorgon costume is sure to turn heads this Halloween as it is a very popular character from the series Stranger Things.

Next on the list at number four is the “Fortnite” Brite Bomber costume. With “Fortnite” being so popular this year there are plenty of gamers out there who want to be their favorite character.

In at number three on the list is the Venom costume. With the Venom movie now out in movie theaters, Halloween participants can’t wait portray themselves as the alien parasite Venom.

Number two on the list is the Wonder Woman costume. Wonder Woman has always been a Halloween favorite for years among the female gender. With the new Wonder Woman movie being released in 2020, interest has only grown.

At number one on the list is Black Panther. Black Panther produced record setting numbers in the box office this year, and with the popularity of the movie comes popularity of its main character, T’Challa.
