On Sept., 3 2015 communications majors from around Waldorf College gathered at the Super Bowl for a night of wonderful excitement for this years communication bowling tournament. This event is held every year for communication majors only. Each team chooses a theme they must dress up for, for example, there were themes like pajama party, communication gods, and throw back Thursday.

There was a lot of spirit in the air at this years tournament.  There were many awards given out to teams for creativity, team work, and style. The cool thing about this communication bowling tournament is it is only for communications majors so the program can grow closer as a whole.

“Communication bowling is something that everyone on campus knows about, whether you are that major or not, and it is an honor to be apart of it,” said senior Kristen Wilke. “The communications department here at Waldorf is a very tight knit between the professors and the students and it is nice to see everyone get dressed up and make new friends to start of the year. It is crazy for me to think this was my last year after so many different themes and bowling teams to start off each year. It will be something I will truly miss.” Communication major Andrew Larsen said, “Communication bowling is always really fun! It was a great time to see everyone in this communication family having fun. Events like this make me happy to be a communications major.”

The yearly event was another success for the communication program. The official count down for the 2016 communication bowling starts now as another year goes down in the books for the Waldorf College communications bowling tournament.
